The audience was convinced that Miguel Ángel Benito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Stanislao was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Prudencio Licerio's late challenge caught a Cascadia United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Licerio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute Prudencio Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Stanislao was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Licerio made a kick off. Anastasio Stanislao made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito sent off a good shot on target. After 58 minutes Soy Cordobés AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Pueblo who took care of the corner kick. When Claudio Costante fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soy Cordobés AFC's protests and gave Claudio Costante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Claudio Costante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Soy Cordobés AFC's Anastasio Stanislao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 played minutes Soy Cordobés AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Balasi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Ángel Benito got free with Anastasio Stanislao in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cascadia United played a much better game than Soy Cordobés AFC and deserved their victory. The Soy Cordobés AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
