Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Patryk Kochanowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Abel Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez Capo's goalkeeper Emirhan Canel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonel Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Raimundo Celio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 33rd minute of play forced Velez Capo's goalkeeper Emirhan Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patryk Kochanowicz. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Capo's zone, Miguel Ángel Benito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emirhan Canel came out of the goal and Miguel Ángel Benito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emirhan Canel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Ángel Benito went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Cascadia United made a substitution. Constantino Neto replaced Abel Neron. The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Benito made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emirhan Canel. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. With a little luck, Velez Capo's Emirhan Canel got control of the ball when Miguel Ángel Benito tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emirhan Canel, 0-6. Miguel Ángel Benito might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emirhan Canel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ángel Benito ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emirhan Canel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Raimundo Celio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velez Capo's protests and gave Raimundo Celio a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Velez Capo got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Celio. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Rico in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes Cascadia United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Iraitz who took care of the corner kick. When Faustino Dominix fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velez Capo's protests and gave Faustino Dominix a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Emirhan Canel to make any attempt to save it. Velez Capo's Raimundo Celio got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Raimundo Celio off the ground. Raimundo Celio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Emirhan Canel made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Rico in the 90th minute of the match. Isaias Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Velez Capo's Isaias Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cascadia United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
