After some careless play in the The Pontiac Bandit defense, Jeremias Cisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Gomez. The The Pontiac Bandit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Gomez should have stopped the shot. If Nicolas Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oso Bucuk in the 24th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Domenec hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Oso Bucuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Sabin came free, but Lisandro Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, The Pontiac Bandit's Sergio Shepherd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Lisandro Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Wilfredo Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leones FC's Javier Richie suffered a sprained foot after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Shepherd during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leones FC's Serafin Hori was substituted for Javier Richie. The supporters of Leones FC booed when The Pontiac Bandit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 56 minutes of play, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Gomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oso Bucuk in the 60th minute of the match. When Cristian Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Pontiac Bandit's protests and gave Cristian Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the game, one of The Pontiac Bandit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Pontiac Bandit:s Lisandro Gomez showed great skill when he stopped Jeremias Cisco:s penalty. 64 minutes in the game, Nicolas Bizi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lisandro Gomez having to interfere. Feliberto Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arnaldo Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Gomez having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Pontiac Bandit! 78 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Lisandro Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Hori hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Lisandro Gomez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oso Bucuk in the 84th minute of play. Leones FC's Wilfredo Quinto got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Pontiac Bandit's Lisandro Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Quinto in the 91st minute of play. When Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lisandro Gomez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Pontiac Bandit were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedicto Obano took the corner. Lisandro Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Quinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Leones FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
