The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Vimaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Villa Castells's goalkeeper Ciriaco Perutxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Baki Tecimer. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Salvador Edwardo made the kick off in the second half. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 56th minute of the match. Ciriaco Perutxo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina 9-12-18's Candido Ebardo. But to his dismay, Candido Ebardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
