The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Galeno got free with Rodolfo Ricart in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Teo Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, TEMPLE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teo Oskitz came free, but Rodolfo Ricart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Elpidio Gonzales made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Aragones. KALSTEIN UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Freddy Galeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Ricart was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 35th minute, Teo Oskitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Arancibia in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Baskın Nihat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Adolfo Aragones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Galeno to make the kick off. Adolfo Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baskın Nihat in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Baskın Nihat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baskın Nihat in the 60th minute of play forced KALSTEIN UNITED's goalkeeper Adolfo Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KALSTEIN UNITED's zone, Acun Timuroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Aragones came out of the goal and Acun Timuroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Baybora Argun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Arancibia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baskın Nihat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adolfo Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TEMPLE F.C.'s Karl-Magnus Rolandsson was substituted for Elpidio Gonzales. Jose Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes in the game, Baskın Nihat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adolfo Aragones having to interfere. If Baskın Nihat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the KALSTEIN UNITED defense, Karl-Magnus Rolandsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Aragones. The KALSTEIN UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Aragones should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baskın Nihat in the 79th minute of play forced KALSTEIN UNITED's goalkeeper Adolfo Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Adolfo Aragones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KALSTEIN UNITED's goalie and right to Nicanor Eskuin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KALSTEIN UNITED's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Feliciano Salomon made a great header on TEMPLE F.C.'s corner, it was just that KALSTEIN UNITED's Adolfo Aragones managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute, Facundo Arancibia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
