Ignacio Fernández scored 3-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Montrel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Montrel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacobo Gonzo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Victor Deunoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcelo Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidro Pello hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marcelo Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Deunoro in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, EVERTON de CHILE's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadırhan Yılğıralp came free, but Marcelo Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Victor Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Montrel having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Gonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Victor Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gualterio Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Victor Deunoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plumerillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Marcelo Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Deunoro in the 73rd minute of play. Marcelo Montrel came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Plumerillo's Ignacio Fernández. But to his dismay, Ignacio Fernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Marcelo Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Fernández in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Victor Deunoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Montrel. EVERTON de CHILE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Deunoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Marcelo Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Victor Deunoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Montrel. EVERTON de CHILE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Deunoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. After some careless play in the EVERTON de CHILE defense, Jacobo Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Montrel. The EVERTON de CHILE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Montrel should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Bahadırhan Yılğıralp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 17-0. Ignacio Fernández blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Montrel having to make a save. Plumerillo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
