The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Rexino in the 25th minute of play forced Alejandra's goalkeeper Maurinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Erasto came free, but Maurinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 38th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lázaro Ledesma was slow to take the kick. During this time Aerolineas Argentinas FC's players had a chance to rest. Maurinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacy Doll, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Cidro in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Aerolineas Argentinas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alejandra throughout the match.
