The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Segio in the 2nd minute of the match. Manuel Markel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Jonathan Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Rexino in the 8th minute of play. Jonathan Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Club Victoria's Jonathan Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Cordareo in the 11th minute of play. Jonathan Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Cordareo in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Artemio Ixaka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Club Victoria and the Aerolineas Argentinas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Artemio Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Cordareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Navarro having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Sebastián Erasto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Sporting Club Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Cibran. After 32 minutes of play, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Alvaro Rexino made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Erasto came free, but Jonathan Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Club Victoria's Cayetano Goiz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julián Valla but with some difficulty. The supporters of Aerolineas Argentinas FC booed when Sporting Club Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Aerolineas Argentinas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Rexino made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Rexino. Aerolineas Argentinas FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Sporting Club Victoria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastián Erasto took the corner. The corner ended in Sebastián Erasto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Club Victoria's Jonathan Navarro did a great save. With his leg Jonathan Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Alvaro Rexino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Evaristo Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 59 minutes on the clock, Bertil Lindsten commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 59th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Lindsten to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Cayetano Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Club Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Goiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes, Sebastián Erasto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aerolineas Argentinas FC and the Sporting Club Victoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aerolineas Argentinas FC made a substitution. Lázaro Ledesma replaced Sebastián Erasto. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Stacy Doll was substituted for Alvaro Rexino. Daryl Lutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daryl Lutz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Lutz couldn't finish the play. Sporting Club Victoria's Jonathan Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daryl Lutz in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Luis Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
