When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jeronimo Birila put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 董悦枫. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Héctor Salamanca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepeche FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Héctor Salamanca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The corner led Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Paulo Quintan to fire away a dangerous shot which 董悦枫 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Pepeche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Birila came free, but 董悦枫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 董悦枫 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 董悦枫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Pepeche FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Porfiro. After 38 played minutes, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Fabio Hernando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 董悦枫 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Calamar Saavedra reached it. In the 42nd minute, Fabio Hernando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Pepeche FC's Lucio Beltza was substituted for Teodoro Mazuste.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Luis Iturrieta to make the kick off. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Pepeche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Luis Iturrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepeche FC's 董悦枫 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pepeche FC from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute of the match, Fabio Hernando got a very nice opportunity to score, but 董悦枫 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bonifacio Naldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Gaueko during the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Birila in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 董悦枫 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Jeronimo Birila made a precise shot to the right of 董悦枫. Pepeche FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Jeronimo Birila struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. 董悦枫 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Calamar Saavedra. 董悦枫 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Quintan went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Patricio Señor hit a great ball. When the match was over Atletico Calamar Saavedra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pepeche FC throughout the match.
