The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Txaran in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Omar Txaran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Pascual Bermudez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trinidad 4.7's Omar Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Trinidad 4.7's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Corcoveanu came free, but Danilo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Derksen in the 29th minute of the match. Trinidad 4.7's Danilo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Corcoveanu in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pascual Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danilo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Corcoveanu in the 38th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Basualdo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pompiliu Corcoveanu to make the kick off. Trinidad 4.7's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Roman Bautista scored to the left of an out of position Danilo Heli, making the score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Corcoveanu in the 57th minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Danilo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Basualdo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Corcoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Olof Derksen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pascual Bermudez. The supporters of Trinidad 4.7 booed when AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Olof Derksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zeledon Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Zeledon Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Pascual Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Derksen in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
