In the 6th minute, Erasmo Gorosti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Cisco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mateo Claus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julián Álvarez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mateo Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Álvarez in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Burni in the 16th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Remigio Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bauti FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gervasio Burni in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Bauti FC were awarded a corner. Gervasio Burni went to the cornerflag to take it. Remigio Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mateo Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julián Álvarez in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Burni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Cisco was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 27 played minutes LegionArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Tabby. Mateo Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Mateo Claus managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when LegionArgentina's Santos Teyo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd match minute, Bauti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Hats to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Cisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Gorosti in the 39th minute of the match. LegionArgentina were furious when Benjamin Gartzen was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Bauti FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Godfredo Marin hit a great ball. After 47 minutes, Adolfo Inautzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bauti FC and the LegionArgentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Inautzi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Burni was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Gabino in the 57th minute of play forced Bauti FC's goalkeeper Mateo Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, LegionArgentina's Marcos Herrera made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Claus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Claus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Herrera's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Adolfo Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Julián Álvarez hit a great ball. Remigio Cisco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bartolo Hats. During the 82nd minute of the match Adolfo Inautzi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adolfo Inautzi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Bauti FC's Adolfo Inautzi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nicolas Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. There was no doubt that LegionArgentina were the better team. LegionArgentina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
