Freddy Pes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, C.A.M.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Orlando Francesco managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when C.A.M.P's Karl-Michael Melander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th match minute, Buenos Aires City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Vito to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Karl-Michael Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.M.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The C.A.M.P fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when C.A.M.P's Karl-Michael Melander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Karl-Michael Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.M.P fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Buenos Aires City's Orlando Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Fidele to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, C.A.M.P's Jeremias Vedillo got control of the ball when Matias Vito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buenos Aires City were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after C.A.M.P's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Sol took the corner. C.A.M.P's Jeremias Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.M.P from getting a goal against them. Orlando Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Melander in the 60th minute of play. C.A.M.P made a substitution. Matia Sule replaced Adolfo Mendiko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Michael Melander in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Francesco saved Buenos Aires City from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Melander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Aires City's Orlando Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenos Aires City's goalkeeper Orlando Francesco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Michael Melander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. C.A.M.P's Karl-Michael Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Michael Melander took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Francesco. Orlando Francesco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1.
