Dante Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Anastasio Gagriel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Jonas Tauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Abalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Tauro made a precise shot to the right of Dante Abalos. Alemania 1990's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marciano Caton hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Caton to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Eate in the 77th minute of play. Dante Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Caton in the 78th minute. Leonel Caponi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Alemania 1990 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético Escocia's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético Escocia.
