After a rather tough play, Liberland's Saturnino Abeitia got a free kick in the 5th minute. Raul Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Rawson F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Rosio came free, but Benjamin Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Liberland's corner Fausto Vigil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin Gombal quite easily take care of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Rawson F.C's goalkeeper Benjamin Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Ascencio. Cristian Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Gombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Rosio in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Liberland's goal looked a bit too open when Uvis Ūpis came free, but Vito Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Venancio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Rawson F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Rosio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Gombal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benjamin Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Rawson F.C's goalkeeper Benjamin Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Rosio. Benjamin Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Abeitia in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Leonel Telmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rawson F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liberland the free kick. After 45 played minutes Rawson F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Telmo. When Jacinto Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Liberland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Rosio couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Venancio Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Jacinto Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rawson F.C's Benjamin Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Rosio in the 57th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Francisco Ixaka in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rawson F.C's Cristo Venceslas. Benjamin Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Benjamin Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Abeitia in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute Venancio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rawson F.C's Benjamin Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Rosio in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Rawson F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Ascencio came free, but Benjamin Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Rosio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benjamin Gombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberland. Rawson F.C's Jairo Birila was substituted for Leonel Telmo. After 84 minutes, Melchor Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liberland and the Rawson F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Marques. If Jairo Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rawson F.C's Aurelio Pepillo was substituted for Uvis Ūpis. Vito Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Dias in the 96th minute. Despite being the better team, Liberland failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
