The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Solchaga was the one to do the kick off. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Tellini in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Domenico Tellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Tellini in the 57th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yücel Özakıncıs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Luizinho de Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All Boys's Albin Pettersson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosendo Balesio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Platon in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Balesio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Adan Platon sped through AC Rangers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosendo Balesio.
