The referee ignored Poli Dream Team's protests and gave Domingo Iraido a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Poli Dream Team getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Domingo Iraido hit a great ball. Marcial Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Rivermania FC's Victor Bazkoare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Euloxu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rivermania FC reached it. Poli Dream Team were furious when Danilo Gregory was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Blai to make the kick off.
