The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Hendrickx got free with Gualterio Erramun in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Jenaro. Gualterio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Jenaro in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Pilar FC got a corner. Pirané's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godofredo Lano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Godofredo Lano made a great header on Pilar FC's corner, it was just that Pirané's Gualterio Erramun managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Hendrickx in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Aggelos Tsaliagos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Luke. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aggelos Tsaliagos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when Pirané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Hendrickx in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pirané getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abel Acuña hit a great ball. Gualterio Erramun made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Candido Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. Sixto Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Ştiubei in the 22nd minute of play. Pilar FC's Sixto Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aggelos Tsaliagos in the 23rd minute of play. Candido Hendrickx who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Gualterio Erramun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abel Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Candido Hendrickx in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gualterio Erramun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Candido Hendrickx had several of the Pirané's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Gualterio Erramun as he didn't even see the shot coming. 38 minutes into the game, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Erramun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Jenaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualterio Erramun. That made the score 4-1 in the 47 minute of play. Pilar FC's Guus Koole was substituted for Cristian Jenaro. Pirané made a substitution. Erubiel Berbiz replaced Alberto Procopio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pirané's Gualterio Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Hendrickx in the 54th minute of play. Candido Hendrickx took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Erramun. Gualterio Erramun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Gualterio Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pilar FC's Sixto Luke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar FC from getting a goal against them. If Guus Koole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Candido Hendrickx scored 6-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Erramun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pilar FC made a substitution. Nicanor Illan replaced Candido Hendrickx. Pilar FC made a substitution. Luca Langoni replaced Martin Benítez. 67 minutes into the match, Pirané's goal looked a bit too open when Aukusti Malinen came free, but Gualterio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes, Pilar FC's Godofredo Lano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Erramun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pilar FC reached it. In the 77th minute Luca Langoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Erramun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guus Koole went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Gualterio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guus Koole in the 84th minute of the match. Gualterio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guus Koole in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Pilar FC's Sixto Luke got control of the ball when Aggelos Tsaliagos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Pirané's goal looked a bit too open when Aukusti Malinen came free, but Gualterio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pirané defense, Luca Langoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Erramun. The Pirané fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Erramun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Langoni in the 96th minute of play forced Pirané's goalkeeper Gualterio Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Ştiubei charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Ştiubei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doru Ştiubei hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Pilar FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
