When Baldomero Urre fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falencia CF's protests and gave Baldomero Urre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Falencia CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Urre to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, ReAl Coholicos's Tadeo Pere threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baiona Encinas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Falencia CF's Tadeo Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Falencia CF from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match ReAl Coholicos got a corner. Falencia CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When Baiona Encinas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ReAl Coholicos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baiona Encinas couldn't finish the play. ReAl Coholicos's Allan Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Castulo in the 42nd minute of play. Tadeo Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Baiona Encinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Pere having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Niva to make the kick off. Falencia CF's Tadeo Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baiona Encinas in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Falencia CF were awarded a corner. Ezequiel Niva went to the cornerflag to take it. Claudio Iratzeder made a great header on Falencia CF's corner, it was just that ReAl Coholicos's Allan Saraiva managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Erubiel Castulo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Saraiva was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
