Einar Holmberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Montrel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Cristian Ieltxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascacibar-Pérez's Einar Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, TORQUE F.C.'s Cristian Ieltxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Einar Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The TORQUE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 79 minutes into the match, Dave Mancinelli notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Ascacibar-Pérez's Einar Holmberg.
