The Miramar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Raymundo should have stopped the shot. Fausto Raymundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martín Cardetti went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Wilfredo Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Miramar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Gabino couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Marciano Padro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Peluchita Fc's Orlando Gatti. Orlando Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
