Chico Răica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of CASBAS booed when Messi Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Iker Olentzaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manga I skillfully saved the ball. After 16 minutes of play, CASBAS's Iker Olentzaro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manga I was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, Messi Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, CASBAS's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Bernad came free, but Chico Răica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, CASBAS's Manga I threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iker Olentzaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Iker Olentzaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manga I was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 58 minutes of play, CASBAS's Romeo Rioja made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manga I was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manga I took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Mei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Claudio Mei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Manga I was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, CASBAS's Claudio Mei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manga I made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 78th minute, Iker Olentzaro made a precise shot to the right of Manga I. Messi Dream Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Edmundo Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Messi Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Vinhas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Messi Dream Team getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gaitan Gabriel hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Messi Dream Team's Alfredo Toro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredo Toro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Messi Dream Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Toro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 96 played minutes CASBAS got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Rioja. CASBAS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Messi Dream Team for a fine match.
