In the 2nd minute, Claudio-Paul Caniggia made a precise shot to the right of Celso Javiar. Milferio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Feng Xiang Yi hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Jamieson in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Milferio defense, Julio Tolino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Javiar. The Milferio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Javiar should have stopped the shot. Javier Cesario's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes, Deportivo Pucho's Archie Litchfield shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celso Javiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pucho reached it. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Stor in the 18th minute of play. Terry Jamieson took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Józef Mlynarczyk. Józef Mlynarczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Milferio's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Paul Caniggia came free, but Celso Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milferio were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Deportivo Pucho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Terry Jamieson took the corner. 31 minutes into the match, Östen Stor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Javiar. Milferio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Östen Stor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Celso Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Stor in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulo Milio hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Paulo Milio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Pucho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milferio the free kick. The supporters of Milferio booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Stor in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Milferio's Prospero Avellaneda was substituted for Eugenios Moutsios. Deportivo Pucho made a substitution. Arnulfo Marko replaced Dan Holm. Deportivo Pucho's Timoteo Eneko was substituted for Gilmar Mendes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio-Paul Caniggia to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Tolino in the 57th minute of play forced Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jamieson in the 60th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Östen Stor took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Celso Javiar to make any attempt to save it. Józef Mlynarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jamieson in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pucho's Timoteo Eneko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 76th minute of the match, Julio Tolino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Javiar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Józef Mlynarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Avellaneda in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Tono came free, but Józef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Östen Stor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Östen Stor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrea Herrera hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Celso Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 89th minute of the match. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Eneko in the 90th minute of play. Östen Stor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Stor got free with Celso Javiar in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Tono in the 93rd minute of play. Celso Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
