In the 22nd minute Ricardo Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bertoni in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Chaves got free with Bernardino Mark in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ricardo Bertoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Bertoni in the 31st minute of play forced Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Ramon Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corralito AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Espeland in the 36th minute. After taking down the ball on Corralito AFC's corner Dennis Espeland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardino Mark quite easily take care of the ball. Bebeto Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Mark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Bebeto Chaves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bernardino Mark to make any attempt to save it. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Corralito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Iniesta to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Bertoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. LA IMPRENTA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Farias in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez got control of the ball when Ricardo Bertoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Robustiano Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corralito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Jayvier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corralito AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while LA IMPRENTA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
