Jeronimo Lizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Lizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Millano went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Lizar. Jeronimo Lizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jeronimo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Millano in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş defense, John Ibaute kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Lizar. The Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Lizar should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig came free, but Jeronimo Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Ezequiel Fresco threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edelmiro Senin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Fresco was a little too slow when Edelmiro Senin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-3. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Jeronimo Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Umea in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jeronimo Lizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 90th minute.
