In the 4th minute of the match Deportivo Calingasta got a corner. Daviana Sport's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Primitivo Semeno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aquilino Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Charro in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Guaberto Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aukusti Markkula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Aukusti Markkula made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Calingasta's Amancio Herauso got a free kick in the 13th minute. With an all-out effort, Daviana Sport's Aukusti Markkula threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Karlsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rigoberto Kemen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Everardo Charro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Orlo having to make a save. Amancio Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aquilino Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aukusti Markkula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Baleren in the 35th minute. If Arsenio Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Calingasta! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Charro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aquilino Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Charro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Deportivo Calingasta got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Muno. Conrado Muno's late challenge caught a Daviana Sport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Muno helped the player get up and apologised. Aukusti Markkula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Calingasta's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Karlsson came free, but Aukusti Markkula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Everardo Charro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Calingasta's protests and gave Everardo Charro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Calingasta getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Everardo Charro hit a great ball. The Deportivo Calingasta fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Deportivo Calingasta's Everardo Charro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Arsenio Bitxintxo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aquilino Orlo to make any attempt to save it. Sebastian Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Deportivo Calingasta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
