Falcone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Erauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nereo Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Anastasi in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Székely in the 91st minute of play forced RIQUELME FC's goalkeeper Nereo Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the RIQUELME FC defense, József Székely kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Luzea. The RIQUELME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Luzea should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Falcone FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
