The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Alegren was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Jayvier might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Izel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Jayvier ran back to his position shaking his head. Mercado Paulista F.C were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Club Deportivo Colonial's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Arixo took the corner. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Club Deportivo Colonial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club Deportivo Colonial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mercado Paulista F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
