Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Emiliano Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 95th minute of play. Many of Pepomania's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pepomania may have spent more time on the ball, but Sakura FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
