Fernan Herauso started the match with the kick off. Marcos Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Esquivel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Herauso in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Victorica AFC's Joško Kodrin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Victorica AFC defense, Fernan Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Inge. The Victorica AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Inge should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Fernan Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Fernan Herauso made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Inge. Victorica AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Herauso came free, but Marcos Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Herauso scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Inge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Sakura FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ariel Esquivel hit a great ball. In the 43rd match minute, Victorica AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Herauso in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Sakura FC's Dušan Vlahović was substituted for Ariel Esquivel. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Viedes made a kick off. In the 54th minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Marcos Inge throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dušan Vlahović in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 59 minutes, Delmiro Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victorica AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorica AFC's Marcos Inge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Victorica AFC from getting a goal against them. The nice shot from Fernan Herauso in the 67thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marcos Inge had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Sakura FC's Konrad Slazak was substituted for Astor Leoiar. After 70 minutes Victorica AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Jakes who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Astor Polentzi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Leocadio got free with Marcos Inge in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorica AFC's Marcos Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's goalkeeper Marcos Inge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Herauso. When Dušan Vlahović got free in front of the goal in the 80th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcos Inge was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Sakura FC booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sakura FC's Artemio Jakes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Joško Kodrin struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Magne Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victorica AFC. Marcos Inge didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Sakura FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
