The supporters of PaGas FC booed when Carapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Lucas Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Carapa FC's Teofilo Gonzalez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teofilo Gonzalez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carapa FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teofilo Gonzalez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Victorino Estavan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, PaGas FC's Angel Monico got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Eulalio Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Iruinea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Elequemedo in the 31st minute of play forced PaGas FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Medina got free with Braulio Manny in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to PaGas FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Victorino Estavan hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Eulalio Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carapa FC's Braulio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Inautzi in the 45th minute of play. The PaGas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carapa FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Inautzi made a kick off. Braulio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Inautzi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Manny saved Carapa FC from getting behind. When Virgilio Laffitte came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Carapa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Laffitte couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Inautzi in the 71st minute of play forced Carapa FC's goalkeeper Braulio Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Angel Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PaGas FC's Victorino Estavan got a free kick in the 78th minute. Braulio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Medina in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Virgilio Laffitte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Edelmiro Iruinea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Carapa FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gogo Bastia hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Reynaldo Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braulio Manny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Carapa FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Benigno Indar hit a great ball. Carapa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
