PaGas FC:s Edelmiro Iruinea showed great skill when he stopped Wilfredo Ortzi:s penalty. 15 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Ortzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Iruinea. PaGas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Ortzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vicente Inautzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Barrio luna FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Angelino Ur hit a great ball. If Vicente Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Barrio luna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Lertxun came free, but Paulino Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PaGas FC's Edelmiro Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Misael in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Barrio luna FC got a corner. PaGas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfredo Ortzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Urbano Menendo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Flavio Azibar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Barrio luna FC's Paulino Curcio. Paulino Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Inautzi in the 40th minute of play forced Barrio luna FC's goalkeeper Paulino Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Iruinea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Ortzi went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Ibon in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, PaGas FC's Flavio Azibar got a free kick in the 50th minute. Edelmiro Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Misael in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio luna FC's zone, Atilano Lertxun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Curcio came out of the goal and Atilano Lertxun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Lertxun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Barrio luna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Ur to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Bartolo Gilabert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Curcio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edelmiro Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute Jaime Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Evelio Illart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PaGas FC and the Barrio luna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PaGas FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Evelio Illart hit a great ball. If Wilfredo Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelino Ur charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Ur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Barrio luna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Ur to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Ignacio Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Lertxun scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Curcio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PaGas FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
