Hugo Santiago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Abancens went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hugo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 12 in the game by Hugo Gaizkine from a close distance when the talented Natalio Montrel managed to make a qualified save. General Tanz II's players were relieved. ✪CyberPunk✪ were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after General Tanz II's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximiliano Lehior took the corner. ✪CyberPunk✪'s Maximiliano Lehior was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Montrel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Maximiliano Lehior sped through General Tanz II's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natalio Montrel. 18 minutes into the match, ✪CyberPunk✪'s goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Tonete came free, but Hugo Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ✪CyberPunk✪'s zone, Benigno Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Santiago came out of the goal and Benigno Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, ✪CyberPunk✪'s goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Rosén came free, but Hugo Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ✪CyberPunk✪'s Hugo Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Rosén in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match General Tanz II got a corner. ✪CyberPunk✪'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benicio Tavio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led General Tanz II's Benicio Tavio to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Santiago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Armando Porros kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Gaizkine. Natalio Montrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Gaizkine in the 41st minute. Hugo Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Gaizkine got free with Natalio Montrel in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ✪CyberPunk✪ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. General Tanz II were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Gaizkine was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Lehior in the 51st minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes General Tanz II's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximiliano Lehior who took care of the corner kick. ✪CyberPunk✪'s Maximiliano Lehior was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Montrel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in General Tanz II's zone, Aureliano Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Montrel came out of the goal and Aureliano Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Hugo Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ✪CyberPunk✪'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Benicio Tavio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ✪CyberPunk✪'s Hugo Santiago. Hugo Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. General Tanz II made a substitution. Bartolo Mantzio replaced Sverker Rosén. Natalio Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Maximiliano Lehior made a great header on ✪CyberPunk✪'s corner, it was just that General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 74 minutes, Hugo Gaizkine made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benicio Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Santiago having to interfere. After a rather tough play, General Tanz II's Segundo Etxatxu got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, General Tanz II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, ✪CyberPunk✪'s Maximiliano Lehior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Montrel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Hugo Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in General Tanz II's zone, Maximiliano Lehior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Montrel came out of the goal and Maximiliano Lehior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91stth minute of the game Hugo Gaizkine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of General Tanz II booed when ✪CyberPunk✪ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Porros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Benicio Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Tanz II's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Tavio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. General Tanz II's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
