The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Delgado came free, but Lorenzo Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Libertad in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Paublo saved Gallito Pisador CDM from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Tauro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Roca. The nice shot from Julio Roca in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Lorenzo Tauro had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 26th minute, Julio Roca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gallito Pisador CDM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lorenzo Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Roca, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Gallito Pisador CDM's Igor Ermengol got a free kick in the 41st minute. Julio Roca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenzo Tauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Julio Roca slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Roca to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gallito Pisador CDM's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Eutor came free, but Bernardo Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gallito Pisador CDM's Bernardo Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Eutor in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Farias came free, but Lorenzo Tauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Farias in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Tauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Roca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gallito Pisador CDM's Joel Izotz was substituted for Conrado Franco. Santos Cai hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Gallito Pisador CDM's goalkeeper Bernardo Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Libertad.
