No goal. Arnoldo Bermund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Nesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes Mervaleta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisito Quintan who took care of the corner kick. Central's Arnoldo Bermund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Nesto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mervaleta FC's goalkeeper Leo Nesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salih Orus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tano Sampler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Quintan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Nesto. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
