Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Ipar in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipolito Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Las Pulguitas Rugby's Gerardo Claude ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Leocadio. Pedro Leocadio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Ramon Bizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Generoso Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ipar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Perugurria AFC's Teo Ramirez got a free kick in the 40th minute. Perugurria AFC's Pedro Leocadio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Perugurria AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Perugurria AFC booed when Las Pulguitas Rugby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Ipar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Emanuel Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Generoso Freire when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Generoso Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cristo Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Leocadio having to interfere. Generoso Freire was a little too slow when Erubiel Ipar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. Perugurria AFC's Erubiel Ipar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
