An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Mark in the 16th minute of play forced Rosario central's goalkeeper Batt Man to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Mario Quilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batt Man was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Batt Man stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Villems's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Quilo got free with Batt Man in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Rosario central's goalkeeper Batt Man had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Nardo. The supporters of Rosario central booed when San Pedro de Colalao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Chap in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Fabricio Huly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to San Pedro de Colalao getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Desiderio Oihan hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, San Pedro de Colalao's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Huly came free, but Gregor Koning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosario central's supporters rose to their feet, but Dany Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregor Koning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venancio Nardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Batt Man made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Villems was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Rosario central defense, Jan Villems kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batt Man. The Rosario central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batt Man should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jan Villems's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batt Man was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Batt Man made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Nardo in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Quilo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. Gregor Koning came out and tried to block the shot, but Ossy Ardiles slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute of the match Agustin Brion shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregor Koning showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Batt Man showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Ossy Ardiles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gregor Koning. Ossy Ardiles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Rosario central were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant San Pedro de Colalao side.
