In the 40th minute, Daniel Cravero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Lauaxeta in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Sean Nabor took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zheng Chao Wei. Zheng Chao Wei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Lino Lauaxeta fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Floresta Manda's protests and gave Lino Lauaxeta a yellow card for diving instead. Lino Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Julio Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inter Miami CF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
