An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Mainer in the 10th minute of play forced CATRE's goalkeeper Nicasio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaşar Orkun. Elpidio Grabiel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Héctor Mainer made a kick off. The Achtung Babies fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kobi Usabiaga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Atarratze saved CATRE from getting behind.
