Marchu FC's Aurelio Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Tatulici in the 32nd minute of play. If Birger Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Semeno came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Marchu FC's Wandy Petera. But to his dismay, Wandy Petera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.
