Long Sen Jing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Silverio Liberto scored 1-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Crane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Emenon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Roger Crane 90 minutes into the match. Roger Crane came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Fernan Tulio. But to his dismay, Fernan Tulio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Roger Crane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Silbestre in the 97th minute. The Los Santos de Almagro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Tribuna Tambien Juega were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
