Didi Papardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fan Xing Zhou in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Duca. 18 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Martinez came free, but Didi Papardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Maria was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Didi Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Xing Zhou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piquirenda FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Iratze in the 35th minute. Eugenio Bernal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Maria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Didi Papardelas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd match minute, Salmuera CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Pablo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Papardelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eugenio Bernal made the kick off in the second half. If Eugenio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ruperto Maria made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fan Xing Zhou in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Papardelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Salmuera CP were awarded a corner. Torcuato Herrero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Salmuera CP's Fan Xing Zhou getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Piquirenda FC's Jilian Oosters was substituted for Severiano Ibañez. In the 62nd minute, Costin Duca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Salmuera CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Gopala Pillai to maneuver through the defense. Didi Papardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Martinez in the 71st minute of play. Jilian Oosters kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Cayetano Lluciano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Salmuera CP's Ruperto Maria. Ruperto Maria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Didi Papardelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Duca in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvain Ries didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Cayetano Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Maria made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Eugenio Bernal sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Maria was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 minutes of play, Piquirenda FC's Cayetano Lluciano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Maria was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Gopala Pillai came free, but Didi Papardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Salmuera CP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piquirenda FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piquirenda FC.
