Burruyaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Precioso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Peñaloza were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Xabat was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Burruyaco's Roque Gartzea got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Aquiles Xabat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erol Batıhan. Aquiles Xabat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Precioso got free with Erol Batıhan in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, Aquiles Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Erol Batıhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Burruyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Estavan came free, but Erol Batıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erol Batıhan made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Anibal Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Peñaloza's Aquiles Xabat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erol Batıhan. That made the score 0-6 after 79 minutes of play. Burruyaco's Erol Batıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Castro in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Burruyaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Rene Dominguez charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Dominguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Burruyaco getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rene Dominguez hit a great ball. Erol Batıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Xabat in the 85th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Peñaloza got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Balendin. Erol Batıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Xabat in the 92nd minute. Zarco Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Giger in the 94th minute of the match. Simon Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Erol Batıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peñaloza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
