In the 17th minute, Alberto Tonete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Guib was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Tralalhué AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Rencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Perrando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anier Guib. Tralalhué AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Anier Guib was a little too slow when Cornelio Guerrero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Tralalhué AFC's zone, Antonio Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Guib came out of the goal and Antonio Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Eulalio Otsando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Guib, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Nereo Jakes got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute, Diego Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tonete in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, Newpi Academy's Anier Guib threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Tonete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute of the match Ion Hidiș sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Guib skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Alberto Tonete sped through Tralalhué AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anier Guib. Alberto Tonete took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Guib. Anier Guib dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Alberto Tonete's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Anier Guib skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anier Guib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tonete's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Alberto Tonete was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alberto Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tralalhué AFC's Anier Guib proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Tralalhué AFC from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Antonio Perrando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tralalhué AFC's Anier Guib did a great save. When the final whistle sounded Newpi Academy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tralalhué AFC.
