Concepcion's Marciano Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Lia in the 28th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rigoberto Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Martin de Tucumán's Henry Carrasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Concepcion got a corner. San Martin de Tucumán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benigno Llorenc ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Concepcion's Benigno Llorenc to fire away a dangerous shot which Henry Carrasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marciano Libertad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邵威伟, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Concepcion's Rigoberto Montes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 39 played minutes Concepcion got a freekick which was hit by Damario Rivero. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 56 played minutes San Martin de Tucumán got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Lia. After having played for 57 minutes, Rigoberto Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepcion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Montes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the San Martin de Tucumán defense, Rigoberto Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Carrasco. The San Martin de Tucumán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Carrasco should have stopped the shot. Marciano Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邵威伟 in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Concepcion getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Damario Rivero hit a great ball. Saverio Lia hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marciano Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Lia in the 68th minute of the match. Henry Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Eli in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute 邵威伟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 邵威伟 in the 77th minute of play forced Concepcion's goalkeeper Marciano Libertad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Concepcion's goal looked a bit too open when 邵威伟 came free, but Marciano Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Roman Ubelteso from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Marciano Libertad's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Concepcion's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
