After a rather tough play, San miguel's Norberto Batista got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Cirilo Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Muno in the 17th minute of play forced San miguel's goalkeeper Francisco Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Boruc Domamir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Suero was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Anselmo Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 44 minutes on the clock, Issa Blackman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 44th match minute, San miguel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Issa Blackman to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Ebardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cogollo Infinito fc's Boruc Domamir was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 56th play minute Anselmo Clemencin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francisco Suero. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cogollo Infinito fc's zone, Cirilo Ebardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Latifi came out of the goal and Cirilo Ebardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Latifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cogollo Infinito fc's Aureliano Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San miguel's Francisco Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Jeraldo in the 70th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Fidel Jeraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cogollo Infinito fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San miguel the free kick. Fidel Jeraldo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Constantino Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Clemencin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. San miguel's Francisco Suero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save San miguel from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Ebardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Latifi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cogollo Infinito fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cirilo Ebardo was slow to take the kick. During this time San miguel's players had a chance to rest. Boruc Domamir's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Francisco Suero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Cirilo Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the San miguel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Ebardo couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Aureliano Muno made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Suero. San miguel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Cogollo Infinito fc played a much better game than San miguel and deserved their victory. The San miguel players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
