An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Ebardo in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atlético Unión's goalkeeper Artur Malewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jose Demario was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Francisco Suero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado de Toledo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 80 minutes in the game, Constantino Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Artur Malewicz having to interfere. Club Atlético Unión's Florentino Kaiet got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
