The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Alejandro Orixe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francisco Suero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Orixe in the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cirilo Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San miguel's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the San miguel defense, Denis Eudoxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Suero. The San miguel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Suero should have stopped the shot. Francisco Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Jose Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Norberto Cabanela got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Alejandro Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Rudolfo Sarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Therkil Bjørslev hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Orixe in the 39th minute of play forced San miguel's goalkeeper Francisco Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Alejandro Orixe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francisco Suero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Eudoxio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Suero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Peyo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Peyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, San miguel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Peyo to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, RÚSTICOS F.C's Eriberto Vachon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Suero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RÚSTICOS F.C reached it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After 51 played minutes RÚSTICOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Vachon. In the 52nd minute, Cirilo Ebardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San miguel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 57 minutes, Alejandro Orixe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RÚSTICOS F.C and the San miguel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San miguel booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Demario in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 66th minute, Alejandro Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Denis Eudoxio put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Suero. Constantino Machado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. San miguel's Francisco Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Orixe in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Denis Eudoxio put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Suero. Francisco Suero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RÚSTICOS F.C's Denis Eudoxio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. If Denis Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Eudoxio might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Suero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Eudoxio ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Suero made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Denis Eudoxio sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Suero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Eudoxio went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Francisco Suero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Eudoxio in the 92nd minute. San miguel's Francisco Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolfo Sarri in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded RÚSTICOS F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San miguel.
