When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Arnaldo Oidor sped through 1947 FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brian Johnson. Laureano Acuña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Johnson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Congo Bongo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
