Newell´s's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrej Golota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Lordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Lordi came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Newell´s's Roman Garci. But to his dismay, Roman Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Bonnement defense, Roman Garci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Lordi. The Bonnement fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Lordi should have stopped the shot. Roman Garcis short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Lino Lordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Urtzi during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bonnement's Gaston Urtzi got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Andrej Golota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Giraldo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bonnement's Lino Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Garci in the 35th minute of play. Roman Garci in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Lordi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lino Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Garci in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Benjamin Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Eguzki to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Roman Garci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Lino Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newell´s made a substitution. Alejandro Sabella replaced Jose Montez. A collision led to Newell´s getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bohuslav Sedlařík hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Roman Garci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Lino Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newell´s made a substitution. Fermin Etxeberri replaced Andrej Golota. The audience was convinced that Roman Garci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Lordi was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Fermin Etxeberri sped through Bonnement's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Lordi. Denis Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Eguzki in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bonnement's Roman Tulio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Lino Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Fermin Etxeberri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newell´s fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Lino Lordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Etxeberri went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Roman Garci took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Lordi. Lino Lordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newell´s fully deserved thier win.
