In the 12th minute, Saturnino Gilabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Saturnino Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Olando in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Brais saved C.A. Independiente FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Gilabert in the 17th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes C.A. Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Etor. Baldomero Etor hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Saturnino Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Brais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Saturnino Gilabert notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of C.A. Independiente FC's Arnoldo Brais. Arnoldo Brais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Saturnino Gilabert put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoldo Brais. Domingo Olando succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Mar del getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Boleslaw Opat hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Saturnino Gilabert sped through C.A. Independiente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Brais. Denis Jusepe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Leonides Medardo made a huge save. The C.A. Independiente FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo de Mar del were winning 0-6.

Denis Jusepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Medardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. C.A. Independiente FC's Arnoldo Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Gilabert in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Gilabert in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Brais saved C.A. Independiente FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, C.A. Independiente FC's Elias Illart got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Saturnino Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Brais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akamas Farmakis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arnoldo Brais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A. Independiente FC were furious when Romeo Cerilo was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, one of C.A. Independiente FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Independiente FC. The referee gave San Lorenzo de Mar del a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saturnino Gilabert, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A. Independiente FC's Arnoldo Brais. 0-8. In the 84th match minute, C.A. Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Etor to maneuver through the defense. Denis Jusepe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Medardo having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Brais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Olando. Leonardo Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Domingo Olando had several of the C.A. Independiente FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Arnoldo Brais as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arnoldo Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
